SOC Tier 2 Analyst

They foster a collaborative and dynamic team culture where innovation and real impact on security operations are highly valued.Your new role As a SOC Tier 2 Analyst, you'll be a vital part of the global cybersecurity team. Your core responsibilities will include advanced threat detection, in-depth incident analysis, and effective client communication. You'll be instrumental in performing threat hunting, managing cybersecurity incidents, and analysing critical alerts escalated by Tier 1. This role involves defining new use cases and incident response playbooks, coordinating response efforts, and maintaining strong client relationships throughout the incident lifecycle. You'll also prepare and discuss recurring reports directly with clients, ensuring their security needs are met.What you'll need to succeed To thrive in this role, you'll need solid knowledge of cybersecurity principles and IT infrastructure, along with a strong understanding of networking, firewalls, EDR, mail protection, and operating systems. Hands-on experience with security monitoring tools like Crowd Strike, QRadar, Splunk, or Sentinel is essential. You should also have good knowledge of Incident Response best practices and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, plus familiarity with ITSM tools.Beyond the technical skills, you'll need a goal-oriented and proactive approach. Excellent interpersonal and teamwork abilities are crucial, as is flexibility and composure under stressful situations. Strong attention to detail, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills are a must. You'll need excellent communication skills in English, and Arabic is a strong advantage.
