The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in engineering and proven leadership skills in procurement operations.Key Responsibilities: Lead and supervise the procurement team in sourcing materials and subcontractors for all interior fit-out and joinery projects Review technical drawings, BOQs, and specifications to ensure accurate procurement planning Coordinate closely with design, commercial, and site teams to align procurement timelines with project delivery schedules Prepare and manage RFQs, quotation comparisons, negotiations, and final supplier selection Maintain and improve the approved vendor list, ensuring quality, cost, and delivery standards are met Oversee contract terms, payment schedules, and performance tracking of suppliers and subcontractors Ensure compliance with project budgets and company procurement policies Report to senior management on procurement status, risks, and opportunities Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Civil, Architecture, or related)Minimum 10 years of experience in procurement for interior fit-out and joinery projects, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or team leader role Strong knowledge of local and international suppliers for fit-out materials, finishes, and FF&EProficient in procurement software and ERP systems Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple procurement packages simultaneously Local (UAE) experience is a must Seniority level Seniority level Mid-Senior level Employment type Employment type Full-time Job function Job function Purchasing, Supply Chain, and Engineering Industries Engineering Services, Architecture and Planning, and Interior Design Referrals increase your chances of interviewing at Shades Interiors LLC by 2x We’re unlocking community knowledge in a new way.
