Senior Audit Manager– UAE National (Emiratisation).Get AI-powered advice on this job and more exclusive features.Job advert Location: Abu Dhabi , UAEKey Purpose To lead, plan, and execute the annual audit agenda while ensuring alignment with internal frameworks, audit methodologies, and regulatory requirements.Primary Responsibilities: • Lead the development and ongoing review of audit-related policies, procedures, and documentation, ensuring consistency with the broader company guidelines.• Create and implement the section’s strategic and operational plans—including budgeting and procurement—in alignment with the organization’s overall vision.• Establish Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for the audit team that support enhanced performance and goal achievement.2. Audit Operations• Draft and present the annual audit plan for executive approval.• Oversee all audit assignments and personally manage complex or critical audits as required.• Maintain professional relationships with audited entities, upholding ethics and compliance protocols.• Lead, guide, and motivate audit teams to deliver high-quality results within deadlines and budget.• Review and ensure accuracy and completeness of audit findings and reports before submission.• Supervise financial audits, reconciliations, and verifications to confirm data integrity.• Ensure governance, risk management, and control frameworks are upheld across audited units.• Take on advanced auditing tasks when needed to support the broader strategic objectives of the audit division.• Set clear individual and team goals, monitor progress, and provide coaching to ensure high performance.• Manage training schedules and ensure team members engage in continuous development activities.• Conduct performance appraisals aligned with KPIs, offering feedback and suggesting improvement areas.• Distribute workload effectively across the team, ensuring balanced assignments.• Foster a culture of excellence and leadership development—particularly among UAE National team members.4.
