Based on our extensive experience, accumulated technologies and talented resources, we provide various services from the feasibility studies to engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning and O&M.We are looking for candidates who embody creativity, commitment, and collaboration—professionals who thrive in an innovative environment, are dedicated to excellence, and excel in teamwork.Join us and be part of a dynamic team where ideas are valued, and collective success drives our future.Job Description Job Summary A mid or senior level engineering position, responsible for maintaining and ensuring the engineering team with overseeing design, analysis, and technical documentation tasks.Provides technical leadership and guidance for multiple activities in the oil and gas industry, ensuring project success, compliance with safety and environmental regulations, and alignment with company strategy Act as a subject matter expert in an engineering position, responsible for providing technical expertise and oversight for complex engineering projects.Roles and Responsibilities Manage the technical aspects of the project and ensure that the engineering design and construction activities are carried out according to project requirements and specifications.Work closely with the Project Manager, Engineering Manager, and other members of the project team to coordinate the engineering design and construction activities, develop project schedules and budgets, and manage the delivery of technical documents and drawings.Responsible for ensuring that all engineering activities are carried out in compliance with regulatory and industry standards, and that all design changes and deviations are documented and approved in accordance with project procedures.Manage review and approval of technical submittals from contractors and suppliers, and work to resolve any technical issues during the project.Contractual scope understanding, assessment and implementation with cost control aspects.Communication skills on technical matters both written and verbal for effective communication between stakeholders.Mentors and trains junior engineers and project team members Develops and implements project management best practices and standards Participates in project reviews and provides recommendations for improvement Acts as a key interface between the project team and senior management Plans and executes projects, overseeing multiple projects simultaneously Manage and report both budget and schedule on a weekly and monthly basis.Management of all project audit reports, and ensuring that all audit action items are closed-out in a timely manner.Highlight and resolve project issues at the earliest opportunity.Ensure that own actions plus those of the project team are conducted in accordance with the HSE management system.Qualifications Education Bachelor's degree in engineering or relevant field Experience12 to 20 years of relevant experience in project management or a related field Extensive to professional-level knowledge with project specifications and standards Experience in oil / gas / petrochemical or power plants Engineering & Construction Company working experience Good knowledge & experience in Primavera P6Knowledge or Certification Advanced to Expert-level or Subject matter expertise in engineering principles and practices Professional certification such as PMP, PMI-SP, or equivalent is desirable.Advanced to comprehensive knowledge of Engineering analysis and simulation software Technical documentation and report writing at an expert level Project management and scheduling Codes and standards relevant to the industry and projects Industry-specific regulations and compliance requirements Technical and Behavioral Competency Advanced to expert-level or subject matter expertise knowledge of engineering design and analysis software Ability to perform engineering calculations and simulations Ability to lead and manage complex engineering projects Understanding of relevant codes and standards Understanding of project management and leadership principles Understanding of emerging trends and technologies in the field Ability to work independently and in a team Ability to work collaboratively with other teams and stakeholders Ability to provide technical guidance and oversight for complex engineering projects Subject matter expertise in a specific area of engineering Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills Time management skills Additional Information Benefits include Accommodation Transportation Annual Leave Ticket Medical Insurance Samsung E&A follows fair and merit-based recruitment practices.
