We pride ourselves on innovation, quality, sustainability, and efficient end-to-end project delivery.Role Overview As VP of Procurement, you’ll lead the strategic direction and execution of procurement operations across multi-billion AED projects. You will play a critical role in controlling costs, managing risk, and ensuring timely delivery through world-class vendor relationships and systems.Key Responsibilities Develop and implement comprehensive procurement strategy aligned with organizational goals and project pipelines.Oversee full lifecycle procurement: sourcing, vendor selection, negotiation, contracts, delivery and execution.Optimize costing & estimation models to support accurate budget forecasts and enhance margin performance.Strengthen relationships with key local and international vendors, ensuring compliance with quality standards and sustainability practices.Implement best-in-class procurement systems and digital tools to increase efficiency, transparency, and reporting accuracy.Lead and mentor a high-performing procurement team, promoting collaboration and professional growth.Drive risk management in procurement—ensure compliance, manage supplier risks, and maintain business continuity.Monitor KPIs (e.g. cost savings, procurement cycle time, supplier performance) and report to executive leadership.Required Qualifications & Experience Bachelor’s or Master’s in Supply Chain, Engineering, Business, or related field.15+ years of progressive procurement experience in real estate, construction, or large-scale infrastructure—ideally with major projects in GCC.Demonstrated success in project estimation, costing, and supplier negotiation.Strong leadership, analytical thinking, negotiation skills, and proficiency in procurement tools (ERP, SRM, etc.).Preferred Qualifications Experience executing technology-enabled procurement and digital transformation initiatives.Established supplier and vendor network in the Middle East / GCC region.Certifications such as CIPS, PMP, or related credentials.Strategic orientation with a strong commercial mindset.Excellent leadership & communication—able to engage with team, stakeholders, and external partners.Adaptability in fast-paced, multicultural environments.High ethical standards and commitment to transparency and compliance.Key Success Metrics% cost savings achieved across projects.Procurement cycle efficiency (RFQ-to-contract time).User adoption level and ROI from procurement systems.Team morale, retention, and capacity building.Seniority level Seniority level Director Employment type Employment type Full-time Job function Job function Purchasing and Supply Chain Referrals increase your chances of interviewing at Confidential by 2x We’re unlocking community knowledge in a new way.
