Open Shift and Open Stack Planning Vapor VMWe are seeking a skilled and experienced Open Shift and Open Stack Planning Engineer to lead the design, planning, and implementation of cloud infrastructure using Red Hat Open Shift and Open Stack. This role will be responsible for ensuring scalable, secure, and efficient cloud environments that support business and development needs.We are seeking a skilled and experienced Open Shift and Open Stack Planning Engineer to lead the design, planning, and implementation of cloud infrastructure using Red Hat Open Shift and Open Stack. This role will be responsible for ensuring scalable, secure, and efficient cloud environments that support business and development needs.Key Responsibilities: Plan and architect Open Shift and Open Stack infrastructure based on organizational requirements.Design and implement highly available, scalable, and secure private/hybrid cloud environments.Collaborate with development and Dev Ops teams to support application deployments on Open Shift.Evaluate and recommend best practices for cluster sizing, network setup, and storage provisioning.Monitor performance, security, and capacity of Open Stack and Open Shift platforms.Develop and maintain documentation related to infrastructure planning, deployment, and operations.Troubleshoot issues related to cloud infrastructure and provide root cause analysis.Work with vendors and Red Hat support for technical escalations.Required Qualifications: Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.4+ years of experience with cloud infrastructure, with hands-on expertise in Open Shift and Open Stack.Strong knowledge of Kubernetes, containerization (Docker), and CI/CD pipelines.Proficiency in Linux (preferably RHEL/Cent OS) system administration.Experience with configuration management tools such as Ansible, Terraform, or Helm.Familiarity with networking concepts (SDN, VLANs, Load Balancing).Understanding of cloud security, role-based access control (RBAC), and multi-tenancy.Ability to analyze system performance and implement tuning recommendations.Preferred Qualifications: Red Hat certifications: RHCSA, RHCE, or Certified Specialist in Open Shift Administration.Experience with hybrid or multi-cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP).Scripting skills in Bash, Python, or Go.Knowledge of Ceph, Gluster FS, or other software-defined storage technologies.Exposure to ITIL practices and Dev Ops methodologies.Soft Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Excellent communication and documentation abilities.Self-motivated and able to work independently or in a team.Disclaimer: Naukrigulf.com is only a platform to bring jobseekers & employers together.
