Responsibilities: Perform site supervision, inspection, and assist the construction team regarding materials submittals, approvals, selection, sampling, and testing (including laboratory and field testing) of construction materials such as soil, concrete, earthworks, asphalt, etc., ensuring compliance with approved drawings, contract documents, standards, and project requirements. Witness and supervise testing of soils and construction materials to assess foundation and structural adequacy, including inspection of plants and laboratories such as batching plants, asphalt plants, precast factories, etc. Supervise laboratory and field technicians. Review Contractor’s Inspection & Testing Plan and ensure compliance with approved ITPs. Prepare and manage the Materials List for the project, tracking material transmittals and approvals, and ensuring correct material information is provided to suppliers. Identify non-conforming materials and ensure samples meet project requirements. Review technical submittals, including method statements, material approvals, and subcontractor approvals. Maintain records of test results, corrective actions, and verify their implementation. Track testing and certificates of compliance. Assist the Quantity Surveyor in determining the cost of work for payment certificates, highlighting areas for improvement or correction. Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related discipline from an accredited institution. 12+ years of engineering experience or similar role with a strong background in infrastructure projects. * While we review all applications carefully, only candidates meeting the requirements will be contacted.
