Ex-CBRE & Knight Frank MENARole Description: We are seeking a qualified Procurement Engineer to support the efficient purchasing of materials and components for Modular Duct Factory operations. The ideal candidate will serve as a critical link between the Factory and procurement team, ensuring that all materials meet technical specifications, cost targets, and project timelines.Key Responsibilities: • Material Sourcing: Identify, evaluate, and select suppliers for materials, components, and systems used in modular construction/manufacturing.• Technical Evaluation: Work with design, engineering, and production teams to understand material specifications and ensure supplier compliance.• Cost Management: Conduct cost analysis and price negotiations to ensure materials are procured at competitive rates without compromising quality.• Purchase Orders: Create and manage purchase orders (POs), ensuring accuracy in quantities, specifications, delivery schedules, and terms.• Supplier Coordination: Maintain strong relationships with suppliers, monitoring performance, lead times, and resolving delivery or quality issues.• Inventory Planning: Collaborate with planning and warehouse teams to maintain optimal stock levels and avoid material shortages or overstock.• Documentation: Ensure procurement records, contracts, certifications, and compliance documents are complete and up-to-date.• Process Improvement: Contribute to the development and implementation of procurement best practices and cost-saving strategies.Qualification: • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical/ Electrical Engineering or a related field.• Experience working with modular building systems or offsite construction materials.• Proven experience as a Procurement Engineer or in a similar procurement role within the construction industry.• Solid understanding of civil engineering items, equipment, and services.• Familiarity with procurement processes, including vendor selection, negotiation, and contract management.• Strong analytical skills with the ability to evaluate supplier proposals and make data-driven decisions.• Excellent negotiation and communication skills to effectively collaborate with suppliers and internal stakeholders.• Proficiency in using procurement software and tools for tracking and managing procurement activities.• Strong organizational and time management skills to handle multiple projects simultaneously.• Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines.• Knowledge of relevant regulations and standards in the construction industry.Seniority level Seniority level Associate Employment type Employment type Full-time Job function Job function Purchasing Industries Real Estate and Construction Referrals increase your chances of interviewing at Azizi Developments by 2x Procurement and Logistics Sourcing Specialist Dubai, Dubai, United Arab Emirates 8 hours ago Dubai, United Arab Emirates 20 minutes ago Procurement Engineer- Aluminum & Glass Factory We’re unlocking community knowledge in a new way.
