Human by nature.A Savoury Flavourist Assistant in a global leading company in Fragrance and Flavours - Your Future position Due to growth in the Taste and Wellbeing Savoury segment, we are currently hiring a Savoury Flavourist Assistant to support the increasing Savoury sub-regional and regional innovation project pipeline across markets in South Asia, Middle East, and Africa. This role is based in our Media City Dubai office and is an on-site position.You will: Be at the heart of flavour creation.Perform with accuracy while compounding flavour samples for both proactive and reactive projects under the guidance of the Savoury Flavourist of South Asia, Middle East, and Africa.Help develop a state-of-the-art new Flavour creation laboratory.Support Savoury Flavour applications following customer briefs.Participate in Savoury Flavours tasting and learn profiling with the Flavourist.Manage the library of ingredients and Savoury Flavours (stock management and shelf life).Challenge your senses and learn the different flavour wheels.Become the best version of yourself: Confidently conduct SOPs and prepare applications with quality, speed, and accuracy.Contribute to formulation development and preparation of internal bases.Contribute to communicating the latest innovations in the Savoury segment.We are looking for someone who: Is already based in Dubai and fluent in English.Has completed at least a Bachelor’s Degree in Science, Chemistry, Food Engineering.Has at least 2 years of experience in a similar role in the Fragrance & Beauty or Food & Beverage industry.Works in and maintains a tidy environment.Enjoys working towards progress and as part of a team.Is comfortable with database management using Excel and/or Access.Has no allergies to food ingredients.We offer: Full-time permanent role.Attractive benefits (yearly return ticket, health insurance, public holidays).Balanced work schedule.Opportunity to work in a multicultural environment with a top industry company.Strong opportunities to grow and learn in the flavour industry.If you love staying ahead of trends, aim to exceed customer expectations, have a passion for food technology, and a discerning palate, this could be your perfect opportunity!#LI-Onsite At Givaudan, you contribute to delightful taste and scent experiences that touch people's lives.
