Associate Corporate Counsel

The role will support the Business Conduct & Ethics program across all Amazon businesses in Europe, the Middle East and Africa. You will help design, administer, and implement various elements of Amazon’s compliance and ethics program, including anti-corruption risk assessments; advice and guidance to attorneys and business leaders; policies on gifts, conflicts of interest, third party risk, corporate giving, etc.; managing education and communication initiatives; and partnering with BC&E investigations counsel, Internal Audit, HR, and Finance teams. The role reports to the Lead Business Conduct & Ethics Counsel for EMEA.BASIC QUALIFICATIONS- Qualified lawyer with 2+ years of post-qualification experience, including in compliance;- Experience with international anti-corruption law e.g. FCPA or UK Bribery Act etc.- Highest standards of ethics and professional integrity;PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS- Excellent judgment and practical approach to legal advice;- Project management/ program design and implementation experience;- Experience with risk assessment and risk management;- Ability and willingness to travel and work flexible hours.- Ability to prioritize, multi-task, meet deadlines, and maintain flexibility in a fast-paced, ambiguous, and changing environment;- Familiarity with retail, cloud, software and/or media industries, and the respective regulatory environment;- Team player who can build strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels throughout the organization;- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.Disclaimer: Naukrigulf.com is only a platform to bring jobseekers & employers together.
