To ensure the safety and efficiency of the systems.Job Description Role Purpose Develop, validate, deploy, and manage drones UTM and countermeasures systems, with the ability to develop and use threat scenarios, models, simulations, and organize and facilitate the planning, execution, and reporting of system operations. To ensure the safety and efficiency of the systems.Key Responsibilities/Duties Develop procedures and guidelines for daily operations of drone UTM and countermeasures systems.Monitor and direct work results of system operations to meet stakeholder requirements and standards.Develop test procedures and instrumentation to collect required data, maintain test logs, and prepare reports.Create and update algorithms and engineering tools for data processing, modeling, and simulation.Manage maintenance tasks and calibration for infrastructure systems and equipment, ensuring support commitments are met.Analyze and report on system activities, including surveys, interference cases, inspections, and technical studies.Support integration of multiple systems or applications for concurrent users, ensuring control and data integrity.Provide technical consultation on drone UTM and countermeasures systems, diagnose hardware/software issues, and analyze market developments.Participate in developing operational plans related to UAV safety, security, and environmental impact.Define, develop, and maintain documentation for standards, policies, procedures, and processes.Set and oversee performance measures for UTM/UAV Electronic Countermeasure systems, linking them to the DCAA's Performance Management System.Manage the operational budget for UTM/UAV systems, with approval processes.Ensure compliance with confidentiality and security policies, address audit findings, and participate in security awareness training.Perform other duties as assigned by the line manager.Qualifications Academic Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree in Electronics, Telecommunication Engineering.Certifications Relevant certification is preferred.Professional Experience7+ years in Electronics or Telecommunication Engineering sectors at various levels.At least 3 years in managerial/supervisory roles.Knowledge of enforcement methodology & policies.Experience with radar architectures and design.RF communication, technical, and software skills.Experience in developing technical manuals.Fluent in Arabic and English (reading and writing).Additional Details Category: Aviation Advertiser: Dubai Civil Aviation Authority Educational level: Bachelor Nationality: UAE Only Schedule: Full-time Job Posting Date: 09/12/2024Unposting Date: Ongoing #J-18808-Ljbffr
