We blend the unprecedented richness of nature with our never-ending passion in our dynamic, innovative, and creative world and continue to bring the most special fragrances and flavors to life.We are seeking an experienced and creatively driven Fragrance Development Manager to join our newly establishing SELUZ CREATIVE CENTER in Dubai.The Fragrance Development Manager will lead the creation, selection, and evaluation of fragrances for use mainly in fine fragrances. A deep understanding of Middle Eastern olfactive preferences and mastery in oriental fragrance structures is mandatory. Collaborating closely with perfumers, marketing, sales, and product development teams, this role ensures that fragrance solutions meet both creative and technical requirements aligned with brand and customer expectations.KEY RESPONSIBILITIESFragrance Strategy & Creation Develop and execute fragrance briefs in alignment with the client and market trends.Partner with perfumers and the sales team to select and refine fragrances that meet project requirements.Translate marketing concepts into olfactive directions.Project Management Lead multiple fragrance development projects from concept to commercialisation.Ensure timelines and quality standards are met in collaboration with cross-functional teams.Organize and participate in sensory evaluations and consumer tests Assess fragrance performance in different product bases and applications Market & Trend Analysis Stay updated on global fragrance trends, consumer preferences, and competition.Continuously research regional and global fragrance trends, emphasising Middle Eastern markets.Provide insights and recommendations to guide fragrance development projects.Supporting annual Seluz macro trend projects, creation and development Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all fragrance formulations comply with regulations and internal safety standards.QUALIFICATIONSBachelor’s or Master’s degree in Chemistry, Cosmetic Science, Perfumery, or related field.8+ years of experience in fragrance development, ideally within the fragrance, cosmetics, or FMCG industry.Strong knowledge of fragrance ingredients, olfactive families, and regulatory guidelines.Experience in the Middle Eastern market and regional fragrance preferences.Sensory evaluation skills and the ability to describe and differentiate fragrances effectively.Project management and multitasking abilities in a fast-paced environment.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
