1 month ago Be among the first 25 applicants The Delegate Sales Manager for Training Courses/Events is responsible for driving sales through the acquisition of new clients and maintaining relationships with existing clients to sell delegate spaces in professional training courses. This role involves strategic planning, managing sales teams, achieving sales targets, and maintaining a detailed customer database specifically for training course delegates.Key Responsibilities: 1. Identify and target potential clients in sectors that would benefit from specialized training.2. Client Relationship Management: - Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with clients interested in training courses.- Understand the specific training needs of clients and offer tailored course solutions.3. CRM Database Management: - Build and maintain a detailed database of the target audience for training courses in the CRM.- Regularly update the CRM with new contacts, interactions, and specific training interests.4. Sales Performance and Reporting: - Achieve and exceed sales targets specific to training course delegate sales.- Monitor and report on sales performance, database growth, and trends in training needs.6. Market Analysis: - Analyze market trends in professional training and development.- Use CRM data to identify emerging needs for training courses.7. Networking and Event Participation: - Attend industry events and training expos to network and generate new sales prospects.- Add new contacts to the CRM database and follow up for potential sales.1. Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, particularly in explaining the value of training courses.2. Negotiation Skills: Strong negotiation and persuasion abilities..3. Client-Focused: Strong orientation towards client service and customizing training solutions.Technical Competencies and Experience: 1. Sales Experience: Minimum of 3 years of sales experience, with a preference for experience in professional training.2. Industry Knowledge: Knowledge of the professional training and development industry.3. CRM Software Proficiency: Prior experience in using CRM software (particularly Salesforce) for sales tracking, management, and targeted marketing of training courses.4. Data Analysis: Skill in analysing sales data and identifying trends in training needs.5. Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Education, or a related field.
