The role involves planning, organizing, and managing inventory movement, storage, and control, ensuring inventory accuracy, and identifying operational improvements aligned with best practices and university bylaws.Key Duties & Responsibilities Monitor daily warehouse and logistics activities, ensuring efficient execution of processes and fair task distribution among team members.Oversee organization of warehouse, storage, categorization of goods, shipment processing, and tracking of costs, productivity, and accuracy.Monitor warehouse operations in terms of quality, stock levels, delivery times, transport costs, and supplier performance.Coordinate with the Fixed Assets team to tag, track, and maintain assets, including conducting inventory counts and reporting discrepancies.Participate in hiring processes, including defining requirements, reviewing resumes, and conducting interviews to select suitable candidates.Support the development of KPIs for Procurement and Supply Chain, reporting progress, and ensuring team understanding of KPIs and their impact.Assist in preparing the department's annual budget, track expenditures, and ensure adherence to budget limits.Ensure Health and Safety standards are maintained and report concerns to line management.Job Requirements Excellent communication skills in Arabic and English, with the ability to prepare professional documents.Proficiency in MS Office applications such as Excel, Word, and Teams.Knowledge of best practices for importing goods and services.Understanding of finance related to stock management.Technical and IT skills, especially in database management and spreadsheets.Knowledge of legal requirements for warehouse operations.Strong customer service skills.Project and time management abilities.Experience in team management, including training and mentoring.Ability to work across diverse business units and adapt quickly to challenges.Self-motivated with the ability to work independently with clear instructions.Initiative, change implementation, and continuous improvement mindset.Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or relevant discipline.Professional qualifications in Warehouse Management, Supply Chain Management, or related fields.12-14 years of UAE experience in a similar role, preferably in higher education institutions.Closing Date: 03/Jul/2025 #J-18808-Ljbffr
