The ideal candidate will have a strong background in histology and possess excellent technical skills. As a Histology Technician, you will be responsible for preparing and processing tissue samples for microscopic examination by a pathologist. You will work closely with our team of pathologists and other laboratory staff to ensure accurate and timely results.Key Responsibilities : Prepare tissue samples for processing, including embedding, sectioning, and staining Operate and maintain laboratory equipment, such as microtomes, tissue processors, and staining machines Perform quality control procedures to ensure accuracy and precision of results Keep accurate records of all samples and procedures performed Prepare and maintain laboratory solutions and reagents Troubleshoot technical issues and make recommendations for improvements Comply with all safety and quality assurance protocols Collaborate with pathologists and other laboratory staff to ensure timely delivery of results Participate in training and development programs to stay current with new techniques and procedures in the field of histology Qualifications : Bachelor's degree in Histology, Medical Laboratory Science, or a related field Minimum of 2 years of experience in a histology laboratory setting Strong technical skills and knowledge of histology procedures and equipment Excellent attention to detail and ability to work with precision Proficient in using computer software for data entry and analysis Ability to work independently and as part of a team Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Flexibility to work rotating shifts, including weekends and holidays Must be willing to relocate to Dubai, United Arab Emirates Technician • Dubai, United Arab Emirates #J-18808-Ljbffr
