CAD Draughtsman (Infrastructure, Water Recycle)

Description The Draughtsman will be involved in working on projects associated with stormwater & drainage, flood alleviation, wastewater networks, and water distribution networks. Responsibilities include investigations, planning, designing, tendering, contract administration, and construction monitoring.Key accountabilities include but are not limited to: Developing and preparing drawings in Auto CAD, Auto CAD Civil 3D, or related programs based on guidance from landscape architects.Preparing detailed CAD drawings of proposed plans, facilities, and infrastructure for internal and external use.Producing drawings for land development and landscape projects.Coordinating design projects with urban designers, architects, landscape architects, engineers, and other CAD technicians.Using customized tools and scripts to automate processes and enhance Auto CAD productivity, adhering to company standards.Having experience with the latest versions of Micro Station, Auto CAD, Windows OS, Microsoft Office, and Internet applications.Possessing knowledge of existing infrastructure networks in Dubai, capable of tracking them from as-built records.Collaborating effectively within a team and liaising with remote teams globally.Assisting engineers with basic design calculations and conducting technical and feasibility studies.Ensuring safety practices and adherence to company policies and quality procedures.Performing other duties as assigned by the Resident Engineer.Qualifications Relevant technical qualifications with at least 10 years of drafting experience related to infrastructure works.Proficiency in Auto CAD, MS Office, and Micro Station.Experience with DS, IRR, DEWA, and water recycling is advantageous.About Stantec We are committed to community-focused design.
