We’ve got what you’re looking for.Job Description: Senior GIS Specialist Location: Abu Dhabi, UAEParsons is seeking a talented Senior GIS Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will utilize Geographic Information Systems (GIS) principles, techniques, and analyses to complete complex assignments.Responsibilities: Create and manage geospatial data for infrastructure, transportation, and urban development projects.Perform site analysis, alignment studies, and service coverage assessments.Support land use planning, plot subdivision, and development impact analysis.Assist with BIM-GIS integration to support design coordination and visualization.Conduct data QA/QC, topology validation, and conversion between CAD, BIM, and GIS formats.Develop FME workbenches and Python tools for automation and reporting.Generate maps and dashboards for clients and stakeholders in Abu Dhabi.Collaborate with engineering, planning, and digital delivery teams to meet project requirements.Lead GIS implementation and management planning at the project level.Create, maintain, and update digital maps using advanced GIS tools.Perform data input, cleansing, and analysis to ensure data integrity and uncover insights.Required Skills: Bachelor's degree in Surveying, GIS, Geography, Geomatics, Engineering, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience).Minimum 10+ years of GIS experience in the AEC industry.Proficiency in GIS platforms (e.g., Arc GIS Pro, Arc GIS Enterprise, Arc GIS Online), CAD (Auto CAD).Desired Skills: Esri GIS Certification.Proficiency in Arc GIS Pro, Arc GIS Enterprise, FME, and Python.Experience with BIM-GIS integration, 3D GIS, and Geo AI.Understanding of infrastructure planning, urban development, and engineering workflows.Parsons values diversity and is committed to equal employment opportunity regardless of race, color, religion, sex (including pregnancy), national origin, age, disability, or genetic information.We invest in our employees’ wellbeing and offer endless growth opportunities.
