Design Engineer

This role will require reviewing order requirements, identifying product configurations and options to meet customer specification and complete engineering documentation like bills of materials, general arrangement drawings, Schematics, Wiring Diagram. This may include developing and designing custom solutions to meet customer requirements. In addition, the design engineer will support customer requests for product information and help to resolve basic product issues on the shop floor or in the field as needed. Position in located in Dubai.Your role Preparing Technical Documents like customer drawings, standard operating procedure (SOP), Assembly procedure and installation and operation manual (IOM).Preparation and verification of Bill of Materials according to the specifications and project requirement.Interact with production planning, supply chain, manufacturing, and project management team.Involve and contribute to continuous improvement program as assigned.Performs analysis and provides solutions to engineering problems.Your profile BE/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.Minimum 2 years of experience in a manufacturing company (Experience in valve manufacturing is preferred.)Advanced knowledge of English language Knowledge of various design and FEA tools such as Solid Works, ANSYS, Creo (PRO-E).Knowledge of BOMs through ERP systems such as Oracle R12, SAP.Knowledge of GAD and cross section drawings. #J-18808-Ljbffr
