Our large, dedicated team of professionals continues to grow as we expand our reach and impact.Your Role We're seeking a PHP Lead Engineer for our Partner Platform team. As a PHP Lead Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in developing and refining our partner platform solutions, focusing on Partner Support Services. You will ensure seamless, scalable, and efficient operations to deliver unique experiences exclusive to Tamara. You will oversee a diverse group of 5-6 professionals, encompassing Backend, Frontend, and QA engineers, while collaborating with designers, analysts, and product experts.Responsibilities Leadership: Inspire and motivate a team of 5 or more engineers. Set the direction by aligning the team goals with the company vision and strategy. Build a healthy environment of trust and accountability.People Development: Develop talent through ongoing coaching and mentoring. Assess and manage the performance of team members.Technical Ownership: Lead technical discovery and guide decision-making. Monitor technical health metrics.Project Management: Help the team break down complex topics into manageable tasks. Manage stakeholder expectations and communicate relevant information.Team Performance: Deliver on commitments. Ensure alignment of the team's objectives with organizational goals.Collaborate with Peers: Work closely with other Squad Leads and Engineering Managers.Your Expertise You have at least 2 years of experience managing an engineering team of more than 5 people. You have a strong technical background in software development with: Good experience with PHP7,8 and Symfony or Laravel framework.Strong experience with OOP, My SQL and No SQL.Messaging systems like Rabbit MQ/Kafka.Container orchestration with K8S.Cloud services such as AWS/GPC/OCI.CI/CD, Testing (UT/Integration/Load test).Good understanding of AGILE/SCRUM methodology.Fintech/e Commerce experience is a plus.Join the Revolution Tamara is a vibrant hub of exceptional individuals worldwide, with over 40+ nationalities committed to working with the broadest talent pool possible.
