For more information, visit our website or follow us on Linked In.Learn more about our career opportunities at: We are seeking a highly skilled Resident Engineer for underground interchange stations, with 7-10 years of experience in constructing and managing underground interchange stations for metro or large-scale infrastructure projects. The successful candidate will oversee the construction of complex underground stations, ensuring compliance with design specifications, quality standards, safety regulations, and project timelines and budgets. Responsibilities include managing multidisciplinary teams, coordinating with contractors and stakeholders, and ensuring successful project completion.Responsibilities: Oversee daily construction activities, ensuring work adheres to design, safety, and schedule standards.Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, and design teams to ensure project efficiency and resolve technical issues.Ensure compliance with local regulations, international standards, and safety requirements.Supervise all aspects of construction, including structural works, MEP systems, tunneling, and other components.Monitor progress, address delays or issues promptly.Review and approve method statements, work plans, and technical submittals.Conduct site inspections and quality control checks.Serve as the primary contact for technical queries, providing guidance and solutions.Maintain detailed site records, including progress reports, site diaries, incident reports, and meeting minutes.Promote a safety-first culture and ensure environmental, health, and safety standards are met.Coordinate with project management to align activities with overall schedules.Lead risk management planning and mitigation.Resolve technical and engineering issues impacting construction progress.Manage document control, including as-built drawings and inspection reports.Review contractor claims, variations, and payments for accuracy and compliance.Facilitate commissioning and handover processes for underground stations.Qualifications and Skills: Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or related field.7-10 years of relevant experience in underground station construction, especially in metro or large infrastructure projects.Experience working on Iconic Interchange Stations.Deep knowledge of underground station construction, tunneling, structural works, MEP systems, and station integration.Strong understanding of UAE regulations, safety standards, and quality control.Experience managing large-scale projects and multidisciplinary teams.Proficiency in project management software, scheduling tools, and MS Office.Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.Problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.Fluent in English; Arabic skills are a plus.Valid UAE driver’s license preferred.Preferred Experience: Experience with underground interchange stations, multilevel structures, and complex MEP systems.Familiarity with metro systems and urban underground transportation challenges.Experience managing high-volume, complex projects in urban environments.Why choose Atkins Ralis Tax-free salary, life insurance, medical coverage, paid leave, gratuity, bonus, annual flight contribution, transport & housing allowances, and employee wellbeing programs.Our commitment: We value diversity, promote inclusion, and oppose discrimination in all forms.
