Health , Safety and Environment Coordinator

Company Overview Our client is a prominent name in the hospitality sector, operating a portfolio of high-end properties and venues across the region. Known for their commitment to excellence, service quality, and guest safety, they are seeking a qualified HSE Coordinator to ensure adherence to health, safety, and environmental standards across their Dubai operations.Role Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive risk assessments to identify potential hazards and recommend control measures.Ensure compliance with local and international health, safety, and environmental regulations.Develop and implement health and safety policies and procedures.Conduct safety training for employees and contractors to promote a safety-first culture.Lead incident investigations and prepare reports to determine root causes and preventive measures.Monitor workplace conditions and ensure the enforcement of safety protocols.Review and analyze safety performance metrics and prepare regular reports for management.Coordinate emergency response drills and procedures to ensure preparedness.Act as a liaison with regulatory agencies during inspections and audits.Maintain records of training, incidents, and inspections in compliance with legal requirements.Promote environmentally sustainable practices within the organization.Advise management on safety improvements and best practices.Provide support and guidance to project teams regarding health, safety, and environmental matters.Assist in developing safety materials and communication strategies.Stay updated on industry trends, developments, and regulatory changes.Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, or a related field.Minimum of 3 years of experience in health, safety, and environmental management and should be from Hospitality background Knowledge of relevant local and international regulations and standards.Certification in health and safety (e.g., NEBOSH, IOSH) is preferred.Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.UAE experience is must.Proficiency in MS Office Suite and safety management software.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to influence others.Experience in training and mentoring employees.Knowledge of incident investigation techniques and root cause analysis.Demonstrate commitment to safety and environmental responsibilities.Problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound judgments.Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.Willingness to travel as required.Fluency in English; additional languages are a plus. #J-18808-Ljbffr
