Description
Title: Murex Front Office BA Location: Abu Dhabi, UAE Duration: 6 months extendable Objective: The Murex FO Business Analyst will be part of the GM IT FO Squad, responsible for providing IT services to the Global Markets team. The squad handles support, change requests, and projects related to Global Markets. Key responsibilities include engaging with the business, conducting analysis, developing requirements, reviewing technical and functional designs, building and testing solutions, and ensuring proper closure of initiatives by taking end-to-end ownership and accountability. Tasks: Analysis and documentation of user requirements, translating them into functional specifications. Acting as a key liaison with Global Markets teams, IT teams, and vendors. Participating in discussions with the business to understand needs and transforming them into change or project initiatives. Defining system and data requirements, validating system design and processes from functional and technical perspectives. Developing and refining business, functional, and testing requirements, collaborating with vendors as needed. Configuring solutions according to requirements. Serving as the subject matter expert for Murex Front Office tools, ensuring full functionality is leveraged. Creating test plans, test cases, and executing system testing. Contributing to user training activities, including discussions, guides, and presentations. Following up with vendors to resolve bugs/issues. Ensuring proper technical and functional handover of projects and changes. Assisting in developing business and operational processes and system training artifacts. Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience as a Murex Front Office Business Analyst. Extensive experience in setting up and validating interest rate curves, including ARRs. Expertise in multiple asset classes (at least 2), such as IR vanilla and exotic derivatives, equity derivatives, commodity derivatives, FX derivatives, structured derivatives, etc. Knowledge of pricing, valuation, risk management, and sensitivities, including for exotic products. Strong exposure to FO modules of Murex: E-Tradepad, Simulation, Livebook, RTPM, Structured Bonds Module, Pre-Trade Workflow, Market Data, Dynamic Tables, P&L Notepad, FDI Templates, Blotters, Risk Matrices, etc. Exposure to Flex API, Pricing API, Va R (MRA/MRB), x VA modules is advantageous. Flex API development skills, including debugging, compiling libraries in C++, and interfacing with REST APIs, are a plus. Experience leading and delivering projects. Experience supporting Murex v3.1 front office capabilities. Excellent knowledge of capital markets products and processes, front to back. Experience implementing both linear and non-linear products in Murex. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. #J-18808-Ljbffr
