Caregiver

We require dedicated Caregivers with a Certified Dementia Assistant (CDA) certification or equivalent qualification to join our team. As an organization committed to enhancing the lives of our patients in the comfort of their own homes, we provide personalized care and support to individuals with various healthcare needs.Certificates: High school diploma or equivalent.Certified Dementia Assistant (CDA) certification or equivalent Valid CPR and First Aid certification.Experience: Previous experience as a Caregiver or similar role in a home health care setting is an asset.Skills: Compassionate and empathetic approach toward patients and their families.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Knowledge of basic caregiving techniques and familiarity with healthcare procedures.Ability to work independently, follow instructions, and handle multiple responsibilities.Strong organizational and time management skills.Responsibilities: Provide compassionate and personalized care to patients in their homes, promoting their comfort, safety, and well-being.Assist with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and personal hygiene.Support patients with mobility and transfers, using proper lifting and positioning techniques.Administer medications and ensure compliance with prescribed treatment plans.Monitor and record vital signs, as well as observe and report any changes in the patient’s condition.Assist with meal preparation, feeding, and maintaining proper nutrition.Engage patients in meaningful activities and provide companionship.Maintain a clean and organized living environment for the patient, ensuring their safety and comfort.Collaborate with the healthcare team to provide accurate updates and communicate any concerns or changes in the patient’s condition. #J-18808-Ljbffr
