Speech and Language Therapist

The main purpose of this role is to perform speech and language assessments and evaluations and design/implement structured and individualized treatment speech programs to teach children with various speech disorders or delays.About the Role: The main purpose of this role is to perform speech and language assessments and evaluations and design/implement structured and individualized treatment speech programs to teach children with various speech disorders or delays.Key Responsibilities: Provide screening, consultation, comprehensive assessment, diagnosis, intervention, and treatment of speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders.Develop and implement highly specialized speech and language therapy treatment programs to facilitate the recovery of speech, language, and swallowing function.Provide ongoing guidance within each client’s individual program to family/caregivers and other professionals, ensuring each client’s continued progress towards realizing their maximum potential.Communicate questions, child’s progress, or other feedback to parents, teachers, and Multi-disciplinary team members.Prepare reports and maintain documentation pertaining to each child’s program.Participate in clinic/team meetings, workshops, and training seminars as necessary.Qualifications & Experience: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Speech / Linguistics.Valid DHA License.Minimum 2 years of work experience as a Speech & Language Therapist.About You: To be considered for this role, you must be passionate about working with children.Have excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Arabic.Be creative and have problem-solving skills to design programs appropriate to different learning styles and communication issues.Be enthusiastic and have high-energy levels.Be able to work independently as well as part of the Multi-disciplinary team. #J-18808-Ljbffr
