The Role This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Lead Completions Engineer with a proven track record in overseeing the design, execution, and optimization of well completion processes to maximize production efficiency and ensure operational safety. What We Can Offer Meaningful and interesting projects delivered to high-profile clients across the Energy Sector Commitment to Diversity and Inclusion: We are actively committed to diversity and inclusion Competitive remuneration package with regular reviews Medical Insurance for inpatient and outpatient care Group Life and Personal Accident Insurance End of Service Gratuity in line with UAE Labor Law The Employee Share Plan Long Service Award at 5-year milestones Professional development tailored to your needs Global connections with industry experts Energy Transition Academy for knowledge sharing and exposure to energy systems The Key Objectives For This Role Are Develop strategies to maximize production efficiency based on geological conditions Oversee deployment of tools like packers, perforating guns, and sand control systems Collaborate with drilling engineers, geologists, and production teams to align strategies Analyze well data post-completion and implement interventions Ensure compliance with industry regulations and environmental standards Responsibilities Execute testing and energization procedures ensuring safety and proper handover Identify resource needs and prioritize workload Ensure team understands responsibilities and deliver scope on time and within budget Promote safety and environmental responsibility Review progress and performance, taking corrective actions as needed Manage resource allocation and liaise with personnel for permissions Review test results and incorporate inputs into project processes Lead and coach team members, assess competence, and ensure safety standards Discharge all responsibilities related to completions management HSSE Responsibilities Provide leadership on HSSE issues Ensure personal and team compliance with safety standards Report hazards, incidents, and unsafe acts Organize work according to HSSE risk assessments and procedures Monitor and ensure the use of PPE and safe operation of equipment Participate in HSSE training and incident reporting Influence & Decision-Making Authority Make decisions for safe and effective execution of work scope Influence senior management, peers, and teams through technical expertise and leadership Qualifications Skills and Qualifications Minimum ONC in Engineering or equivalent; HNC is an advantage Mandatory training including induction, HUB2, Go Completions, and PTW experience Experience in completions roles with safety focus Knowledge of completions processes and management software Proven report writing and team supervision skills Good understanding of HSEQ practices Personal Attributes Passion for safety culture Flexible and adaptable to client and company requirements Focused on delivery and project goals Strong communication and initiative skills Desire to learn and develop in a multicultural environment About Us Wood is a global leader in consulting and engineering, operating in 60 countries with around 35,000 employees.
