Senior Hardware Systems Engineer (RF)

Our growing R&D team in Abu Dhabi, UAE, is looking for a Senior Hardware Systems Engineer to join us in this newly created role.Responsibilities: Design and develop cutting-edge communication systems.Write system specification documents (HLD/LLD) and break them into sub-specifications for board, mechanical, electrical, and RF designers, as well as software requirements for the RT-embedded team.Work on projects from concept design to mass production level.Collaborate with various teams such as board design, RF design, firmware, and mechanical design.Design/develop system accessories including wiring, connectors, and mechanical interfaces.Coordinate with contractors and suppliers on custom and off-the-shelf components.Perform system integration, bring-up, debugging, testing, and generate verification reports against requirements and specifications.Create and maintain system documentation.Design systems to meet military standards, thermal, and environmental constraints.Requirements: B.Sc. in Electronic Engineering or a related field.Approximately 20 years of experience as a system engineer.Experience in designing military standard payloads for stationary, vehicular, and airborne solutions.Proficiency in board design, RF design, and mechanical design.Knowledge of digital and analog systems, power supply design.Understanding of RF, transmitter/receiver architecture.Hands-on lab debugging and measurement skills using oscilloscopes, VSA, VSG, VNA, etc.Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills.Self-motivated and effective team player.Self-directed with strong planning and independent project execution skills.Other Requirements: Passion for hardware development and technology.Team-oriented mindset.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Experience working with multiple stakeholders, including clients.Flexible attitude and ability to perform under pressure.About Us: Beam Trail aims to deliver the best solutions and user experience for governmental organizations, empowering data analysts to identify and resolve issues swiftly while optimizing operations.We are a team of talented, creative, and dedicated individuals passionate about delivering innovative solutions.
