Manufacturing Supervisor

Job Overview: The FMCG Manufacturing Supervisor is responsible for coordinating and overseeing the daily operations of the manufacturing process in a fast-paced consumer goods production environment. This role involves managing a team of production workers, ensuring production targets are met, maintaining quality standards, and promoting a safe working environment.Key Responsibilities: Production Oversight: Supervise and coordinate all manufacturing activities to meet production targets and deadlines.Monitor and optimize production processes to ensure efficiency and cost-effectiveness.Implement production schedules and adjust as necessary to respond to changing demands.Team Management: Lead and motivate a team of production workers, providing guidance and support.Conduct regular performance evaluations and address any performance issues or concerns.Facilitate training programs to enhance the skills of the production team.Quality Control: Ensure that products meet quality standards and specifications.Implement and enforce quality control procedures throughout the manufacturing process.Investigate and address any quality issues promptly.Safety Compliance: Promote and enforce a culture of safety within the manufacturing facility.Conduct regular safety meetings and inspections to identify andaddress potential hazards.Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.Inventory Management: Monitor and manage raw material and finished goods inventory levels.Coordinate with the supply chain to ensure timely availability of materials.Implement inventory control measures to minimize waste and losses.Identify opportunities for process improvement and cost reduction.Implement best practices and learn manufacturing principles to enhance efficiency.Collaborate with other departments to optimize overall business operations.Communication: Communicate production goals, objectives, and expectations to the manufacturing team.Collaborate with other departments, such as logistics, quality assurance, and maintenance.Report regularly on production performance to management.Qualifications and skills: Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (engineering, manufacturing, operations management) or equivalent experience.Proven experience in a supervisory role within an FMCG manufacturing environment.Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, quality control, and safety standards.Excellent leadership and communication skills.Problem-solving and decision-making abilities.Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles is a plus.Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. #J-18808-Ljbffr
