Stakeholder / Permitting Manager - (105)Share this job as a link in your status update to Linked In.Location Category Manager Job Type Full-time Working Days Job Description The Stakeholder / Permitting Manager reports to the Director - Projects at the Design Office and will be responsible for leading engagement with regulatory authorities and key stakeholders to ensure timely approvals and permits for engineering and infrastructure projects. This role involves coordinating across internal teams and government entities, managing all aspects of permitting, and ensuring compliance with local regulations. The manager plays a critical role in minimizing project delays, maintaining strong relationships with external parties, and supporting the successful delivery of projects. The incumbent will lead a team of Stakeholder Engineers and collaborate with the Projects/Delivery team to ensure seamless approvals and effective coordination with all stakeholders.Key Responsibilities: Stakeholder Management Identify, map, and engage all relevant stakeholders (government entities, clients, communities, utilities, developers).Develop and implement stakeholder engagement strategies and communication plans.Facilitate regular meetings, workshops, and coordination sessions with key stakeholders.Serve as the primary liaison between the project team and regulatory/government authorities.Manage stakeholder expectations, address concerns, and ensure alignment of project objectives.Permitting and Regulatory Compliance Lead the planning, preparation, submission, and tracking of all permits and approvals required for the project lifecycle.Maintain an up-to-date permit register for tracking applications, renewals, and expirations.Coordinate with design, HSE, and construction teams to ensure compliance with local regulations and standards.Engage with statutory authorities to resolve technical queries or compliance issues.Stay updated on changes in local laws, codes, and permit procedures relevant to the project.Documentation and Reporting Maintain detailed records of stakeholder communications, approvals, and correspondence.Prepare and submit progress reports related to stakeholder engagement and permitting status.Provide inputs for risk registers, mitigation strategies, and issue logs.Job Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Urban Planning, or related discipline.10 years of experience in stakeholder coordination or permitting roles within engineering consultancies in the UAE.Extensive experience in senior stakeholder engagement on infrastructure and landscape projects with diverse internal and external stakeholders. Proven leadership in managing teams and Clients.Exceptional collaborative skills, ability to meet tight deadlines in a dynamic environment, and a keen eye for detail and excellence. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both oral and written, with proficiency in presentations. Excellent judgment, assertiveness, and diplomacy. Demonstrated ability to manage conflict in high-pressure situations.Strong knowledge of UAE regulatory and approval processes for infrastructure and construction projects.Experience working with major UAE authorities and familiarity with online NOC portals.Advanced proficiency in MS Office Suite Excellent communication and interpersonal skills in dealing with authorities and clients.Arabic language skills are a strong advantage. #J-18808-Ljbffr
