Reading for Pleasure Project Coordinator (Bilingual)

To liaise and coordinate between the education department and the schools on various external education initiatives.Key Responsibilities Establish and maintain strong relationships with public schools and the representatives assigned to Emirates Literature Foundation special education projects throughout the year.Liaise with school representatives on all special education projects.Support in designing the education program for various special projects, including choice of authors, suitable books for every age group, and writing session blurbs.Promote the Foundation and the EAFOL Children’s and Education Programmes to schools and universities and encourage registrations and sales.Attend education events and offer front and back of house support as necessary.Support the Education team in promoting any year-round educational courses, initiatives, and events for the Foundation if required.Support the Education team and the wider organization in any foundation initiatives where needed.Reading for Pleasure Project with the Emirates School Establishment (ESE): Support the team in choosing suitable books/authors for each age group in both Arabic and English.Organize webinars for teachers and parents to promote reading for pleasure and encourage participation, and liaise internally with the relevant team members.Communicate with the curriculum teams at all schools on the choice of books and topics and approvals.Liaise with the training department team at all schools to arrange teacher webinars.Prepare presentations when needed to present the project to relevant stakeholders.Liaise with the authors and the production team regarding webinars and recordings – if applicable.Work with the authors on the resource packs provided alongside the project – when applicable.Liaise with pilot schools on the regular weekly, bi-monthly, and monthly visits to the schools and organize logistics.Support the team with the physical visits to the schools.Be prepared to participate in storytelling within the pilot schools and engage with the students.Interested applicants residing in Dubai are encouraged to submit their details through the provided link.Job Type: Full-time Application Question(s): Current visa status and expiry date.Notice period.Last drawn/current salary.Do you hold a valid UAE driving license?Do you have own transport?Experience: Teaching: 2 years (Required)Language: Fluency in Arabic (Required).Fluency in English (Required). #J-18808-Ljbffr
