Job Summary: The Senior QC Engineer (Instrumentation) will be responsible for ensuring the quality and compliance of instrumentation and control systems installation, calibration, testing, and commissioning activities in accordance with ADNOC standards, project specifications, and international codes. The role involves overseeing inspection activities, reviewing documentation, and ensuring all instrumentation works meet contractual and regulatory requirements.Key Responsibilities: Quality Control & Inspection: Conduct inspections and tests on instrumentation systems (e.g., flow meters, pressure transmitters, control valves, DCS/PLC systems, cabling, and loop checks).Verify compliance with ADNOC, IEC, ISA, ANSI, API, and other relevant standards.Review ITPs (Inspection & Test Plans), method statements, and calibration reports.Witness and approve FAT (Factory Acceptance Tests), SAT (Site Acceptance Tests), and loop tests.Ensure proper installation of field instruments, junction boxes, and control panels.Documentation & Reporting: Maintain detailed inspection records, test reports, and non-conformance reports (NCRs).Review material certifications, datasheets, and as-built documentation.Ensure all QC documentation is properly archived for handover.Coordination & Compliance: Liaise with contractors, vendors, and ADNOC representatives for QC compliance.Participate in HSE audits and ensure safety in instrumentation activities.Support the QA/QC Manager in audits and project quality reviews.Defect Management: Identify and report quality deviations, ensuring corrective actions are implemented.Monitor rework/re-inspection of non-conforming items.Qualifications & Experience: Education: Bachelor s degree in Instrumentation, Electrical, or Electronics Engineering.Certifications: CSWIP 3.1 or equivalent (preferred).ISO 9001 Lead Auditor (advantageous).ADNOC approval (preferred).Experience: Minimum 7+ years in QC instrumentation in ADNOC or oil & gas projects.Hands-on experience with control systems (DCS/PLC), hazardous area installations (ATEX/IECEx), and loop testing.Skills & Competencies: In-depth knowledge of instrumentation standards (ISA, IEC 61511, API RP 554).Proficiency in calibration tools and testing equipment.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Excellent communication and reporting skills.Disclaimer: Naukrigulf.com is only a platform to bring jobseekers & employers together.
