Description
Responsibilities: Research and identify potential suppliers globally.Evaluate supplier capabilities, pricing, and quality to make informed sourcing decisions.Establish and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure special support, timely delivery, and quick resolution of any issues.Stay informed about the latest trends, technologies, and pricing in the IT equipment market.Conduct ongoing market research to identify new suppliers and products that align with organizational requirements.Cost Analysis: Analyze costs associated with IT equipment procurement and identify opportunities for cost savings.Develop and implement cost-effective procurement strategies while maintaining quality standards.Contract Management: Draft, review, and manage contracts with customers and suppliers to ensure compliance with terms and conditions.Negotiate favorable contract terms and conditions for the organization.Skills Required: Technical Knowledge: Deep understanding of products and their specifications.Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with industry standards and best practices in procurement and with global suppliers.Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail to ensure accuracy in procurement & tendering processes.Communication Skills: Effective written and verbal communication skills for interactions with suppliers and stakeholders.Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Electronics, Information Technology, Civil and Mechanical, Computer Science, or a related field.Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role. #J-18808-Ljbffr
