Eaton is seeking a Data Centre Electrical Systems Engineer to provide technical expertise and leadership in the design, development, and implementation of electrical systems and solutions. This role requires a deep understanding of electrical engineering principles and a proven track record of solving complex technical challenges. The successful candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the delivery of high-quality, innovative electrical solutions. What You’ll Do Provide technical leadership and expertise in the design and development of LV, MV, UPS, energy storage, and other applicable data centre electrical systems and solutions. Conduct detailed technical analyses and provide recommendations for improving electrical systems and processes. Focus on early Eaton system approvals by vendors (AVL) for programmatic buys. Support on system design for customers. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Design & Bid, engineering, operations, and sales, to ensure successful project implementation. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and technologies to drive innovation. Improve processes and methodologies for electrical design and implementation. Ensure compliance with IEC, EU requirements, and building codes by working with local agencies. Define project scope and provide technical support during construction. Drive innovation in Eaton’s Data Centres design by staying current with research and industry trends. Represent Eaton as an industry solutions expert, developing trusted relationships with clients, consultants, partners, and peers. Support marketing activities to promote Eaton. Manage multiple projects across regions. Travel to sites for reviews, evaluations, audits, and startup support. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in electrical/electronics engineering. Strong experience in application engineering in data center systems engineering. Skills Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
