Senior Mechanical Engineer

· Senior level engineering professional providing technical direction required for production and completion of both routine and unique or complex projects.· Responsible for conceptualizing the initial design and/or investigative approach for a major phase of a large project or have overall responsibility for the engineering work on a project of moderate scope.· Plan, schedule, conduct, and/or coordinates engineering work involving conventional engineering practices but may include a variety of complex features such as conflicting design requirements.· Analyzing problems and coming up with designs to solve them.· Networking and collaborating with other engineers and professionals.· Working within the budget to deliver safe and efficient products on time.· Allocating resources and time effectively.· Attending meetings and providing input and updates.· Analyzing data to write up reports.· Communicating with staff, directors, and clients.· Supervise less experienced engineers or technical support personnel on projects.· Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing within required deadlines.· Ability to prepare reports using Microsoft Office and Autodesk products· Lead project management and client communications for successful project delivery· Perform other duties as required.REQUIREMENTS & QUALIFICATIONS· Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering.· Minimum 5 years of experience as a Senior Mechanical Engineer· At least limited proficiency with Auto CAD, Revit MEP, and other specialty-critical software preferred.· Proficiency with MS Word, Excel, and Outlook.· Ability to work on multiple projects and/or in multiple project phases simultaneously· Superb creativity, vision, and problem-solving skills.· Excellent interpersonal skills and self-confidence.· Extensive experience working on engineering projects.· Ability to make decisions in high-stress situations.· Great written and verbal communication skills. #J-18808-Ljbffr
