Join to apply for the D365 F&O Technical Consultant role at Dicetek LLC 1 month ago Be among the first 25 applicants Position Overview We are seeking an experienced Dynamics 365 for Finance and Operations (D365 F&O) Technical Consultant with 7+ years of expertise to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess advanced technical skills, functional knowledge, and a proven track record of implementing and customizing Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations solutions. You will work closely with functional consultants and developers to deliver high-quality, scalable solutions for clients. Key Responsibilities D365 F&O Technical Implementation: Lead and support the technical implementation, upgrade, and enhancement of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations. This includes working through the full project lifecycle, from design and development to deployment and post-go-live support. Customization and Development: Perform custom development tasks in D365, including creating, configuring, and deploying custom modules, reports, and integrations. Utilize X++ programming language to modify core business processes and extend system capabilities. Data Migration: Design and execute data migration strategies and processes from legacy systems to D365. Ensure data integrity, security, and consistency throughout the migration process. Integration: Develop and maintain integration solutions between D365 F&O and other systems (e.g., CRM, third-party applications, legacy systems) using integration tools such as OData, REST, and data entities. System Performance Optimization: Analyze, diagnose, and optimize the performance of D365 F&O solutions. Provide solutions to improve system speed, reliability, and scalability. Technical Documentation: Create and maintain clear and detailed technical documentation for all customizations, configurations, and integrations. Ensure all work is well-documented for future reference and support. Collaboration: Work closely with functional consultants to bridge the gap between business requirements and technical solutions. Participate in design workshops and business requirement sessions. Qualifications Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field. Relevant certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations are a plus. Experience: 7+ years of hands-on experience working with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations. Proven experience in technical implementation projects of D365 F&O. Strong experience with X++ programming language, AOT (Application Object Tree), and other D365 development tools. Technical Skills Microsoft Dynamics 365 for Finance and Operations Extensive knowledge of D365 F&O modules, including Finance, Supply Chain, Procurement, Inventory Management, and Manufacturing. Expertise in customizations, extensions, and data migration within the D365 F&O ecosystem. Programming and Development: Strong proficiency in X++ programming and debugging. Experience with .NET, C#, and other development languages used for custom development in D365. Knowledge of Power Apps, Power Automate, and Azure Dev Ops. Integrations & Data Management: Strong experience in integrating D365 with other systems using services such as OData, REST APIs, and Data Entities. Familiarity with SQL Server and Data Warehouse concepts. Performance Tuning & Troubleshooting: Experience in diagnosing and optimizing system performance. Troubleshooting technical issues and resolving D365 performance bottlenecks. Version Control & Code Management: Proficient in using Azure Dev Ops for version control and application lifecycle management. Operational Skills Problem-Solving: Strong analytical skills with the ability to diagnose issues, propose solutions, and execute them in a timely manner. Team Collaboration: Ability to work well in cross-functional teams, collaborating with functional consultants, business analysts, and clients to deliver high-quality solutions. Additional Skills (Nice To Have) Experience with Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement (CRM) integration. Familiarity with other Microsoft technologies like Power BI, Power Apps, and Azure Logic Apps. Knowledge of security protocols and compliance within D365 F&O. Experience working in diverse industries, including finance, and supply chain.
