Every Ignite School student feels welcome, accepted, safe, valued, and happy.Responsibilities: Teach English to middle school students Engage students in creative and innovative learning Support a peer-led professional learning community Implement the American curriculum Encourage the physical, social, intellectual, and emotional development of students Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree or Higher in English or related field Valid teacher certification for the subject and level you are being hired to teach2 years of recent post-certification teaching experience Candidates holding valid and relevant New York State teacher certification preferred Fluent English speaker Experience teaching in a US district school offering the Common Core State Standards (New York State experience preferred)MUST have the following to be considered: US Passport Holder (valid 6 months or greater)2 or more years of certified teaching experience in the United States for the position applying for Current Resume3 Current References to supply if offered a position Experience Certificate (if 2 years or more completed at a school in the UAE)COVID Vaccination (proof) or willingness to get vaccinated upon arrival Compensation: Tax-free salary paid on a scale linked to teaching experience up to 13,000 AED per month End of service gratuity Housing allowance Joining and departure economy class flights to/from Dubai to the home of record for self Annual flights to home of record (Economy class) for self, taken once during annual leave UAE medical insurance for self2-year renewable contract with option for renewal Excellent career and leadership prospects Application Process: Interviews are conducted through Skype/Google Meet.Please note that Teach Away provides information on behalf of schools and cannot accept liability for information provided or policies schools may adopt.
