Join to apply for the TECHNICAL MANAGER OFFSHORE OIL ASSETS role at Total Energies.Get AI-powered advice on this job and more exclusive features.Contexte et environnement All the JVs in Abu Dhabi operate in a very sensitive political and contractual context and in a highly competitive environment (presence of other Majors, including 8 international shareholders in ADNOC Offshore).Under the framework of Total Energies’ Asset Management in the conventional role of a Shareholder, supplemented by Total Energies’ Leadership role in the new ADNOC Offshore concessions (which currently contributes to 85 kb/d to the Group SEC production), the present function plays a very important role in asset management and information, assessment, and "broker" of Total Energies’ technical assistance and know-how transfer to ADNOC Offshore.The job holder manages complex requirements from a non-operated JV, and fulfilling these expectations helps advance Total Energies’ strategic position in the region (production, reserves, investments). The position is based in Abu Dhabi’s multicultural environment, supported by TEP UAE Geosciences and Business Development teams, and a dedicated support from HQ with a sole cost budget.Activities Prepares technical discussions regarding Total Energies’ shareholder role in Abu Dhabi for ADNOC Offshore, engaging with local stakeholders and other shareholders (ADNOC, JODCO, ENI, CNPC, FALCON).Prepares technical dossiers for ADNOC Offshore major investment decisions.Supports the preparation of ADNOC Offshore data and reports for Total Energies corporate exercises (e.g., PRIME, PDC, Budget, LTP).Acts as ADNOC Offshore Tender Committee representative, coordinating contracting approval requests according to Delegation of Authority.Represents ADNOC Offshore in Audit Committee matters, assisting in risk management, internal control, audit, and compliance decisions.Supports the SVP Offshore Oil Assets and VP Offshore Oil Assets JV in fulfilling Total Energies’ obligations as Asset Leader, ensuring thorough responses to ADNOC Offshore requests and executing the Asset Leader Performance Contract.Candidate Profile Engineer with at least 10 years of experience in offshore petroleum activities, including geosciences, drilling, field operations, or projects. Experience in team management is a plus. Must have strong communication skills in English and Arabic, organizational skills, and cultural adaptability to Middle Eastern business practices such as patience, humility, and persistence.Additional Information Total Energies is a shareholder in two ADNOC Offshore concessions since March 2018, with interests of 20% in Umm Shaif/Nasr and 5% in Lower Zakum. The company acts as Asset Leader for the Umm Shaif/Nasr concession, supporting ADNOC Offshore with technical and technological activities, reviewing performance, and providing feedback.
