Senior Relationship Manager, Corporate Banking
Description
Professional management and maintenance of Corporate banking relations in coordination with Unit Heads and the Head of Corporate Banking. Principal Accountabilities Maintain and manage an assigned portfolio of existing Corporate clients to retain and grow their banking relationships profitably, aligned with business growth targets. Identify, solicit, and acquire new Corporate clients in line with approved strategies for Assets, Liabilities, Trade, and Treasury Sales. Negotiate credit lines that conform to the Bank's underwriting standards and risk-adjusted targets, based on thorough analysis for detailed credit proposals. Conduct regular client visits for monitoring and business development, recording all pertinent information in call reports promptly. Engage in account planning with Client Service Team Members, cross-selling other products/services to ensure multiproduct relationships and increased share of wallet. Facilitate other lines of business through referrals to Wealth and Consumer Banking, exploiting business opportunities. Maintain effective internal and external communication to ensure timely turnaround and high client satisfaction. Ensure timely and accurate credit administration, including annual reviews, monitoring financial covenants, and other parameters within review cycles. Manage a team of Assistant Relationship Managers, Support Officers, and Tumoo7; set, agree, and measure annual targets; provide guidance, training, motivation, and conduct performance reviews. Ensure compliance with internal audit requirements and policy guidelines to uphold high standards of consistency across the Bank. Stay informed of developments in the local business environment to identify new opportunities. Contribute to planning and development of corporate business strategies. Develop strong local contacts within the business and financial community. Requirements Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in Economics, Finance, or Business Management. 10 years of experience in Corporate Banking, with at least 5 years in the UAE market.
