We are excited to announce an opening for a Consultant Gastroenterologist to join our dedicated healthcare team. In this influential role, you will be responsible for the diagnosis and management of patients with a variety of gastrointestinal disorders. Your expertise will not only improve patient health but also drive the advancement of our gastroenterology services. This role requires a compassionate approach to patient care, as you will be responsible for performing endoscopic procedures, engaging with patients about their treatment plans, and providing valuable educational resources. Collaboration with multidisciplinary teams will be key in delivering comprehensive care and improving patient outcomes. Main Responsibilities Evaluate, diagnose, and manage patients with complex gastrointestinal conditions. Perform endoscopic procedures such as colonoscopy and upper gastrointestinal endoscopy. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and follow-up protocols. Educate patients and their families on managing their conditions and promoting healthy lifestyles. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure a holistic approach to patient care. Maintain meticulous documentation of patient encounters and treatment progress. Participate in clinical research and quality improvement projects. Mentor and guide junior staff as well as provide training opportunities. Requirements Medical degree with a specialization in Gastroenterology Board certification in Gastroenterology Active medical license and credentials to practice Minimum of 5 years of relevant clinical experience Expertise in performing endoscopic procedures with a strong focus on patient safety Strong analytical skills with the ability to assess complex medical conditions Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills A collaborative team player with a patient-first mentality Dedication to continual professional growth and education in gastroenterology #J-18808-Ljbffr
