Senior Lecturer / Associate Professor

To deliver high-quality instruction and academic support in the fields of Science and Mathematics to foundation-level students preparing for undergraduate studies. The position holder will also contribute to curriculum development, scholarly activities, research initiatives, and academic advising within the Foundation Studies Program. Eligibility : Open to All Nationalities Qualifications Required : Master’s Degree in a relevant field (Science, Mathematics, Education) Ph D (Doctorate Degree) in Science, Mathematics, or related discipline Recognized academic and / or teaching certifications are advantageous A record of scholarly research and publication (required for Associate Professor level) Experience : Senior Lecturer : Minimum 5–7 years of teaching experience in higher education Assistant Professor : Minimum 3–5 years of post-Ph D teaching and research experience Associate Professor : Minimum 8–10 years of teaching, research, and academic leadership Demonstrated excellence in curriculum design, pedagogy, and assessment practices Experience in delivering foundation or pre-university level courses (preferred) Prior supervision of student research or academic advising (preferred) Key Responsibilities : Deliver engaging, student-centered lectures and tutorials in Science and Mathematics Develop and review course materials and assessments in line with program outcomes Conduct scholarly research and publish in peer-reviewed journals Supervise undergraduate projects or provide academic mentorship Participate in departmental meetings, curriculum reviews, and university committees Support students through academic advising and learning support Collaborate with colleagues to ensure consistent academic quality and integrity Contribute to community outreach, institutional development, and knowledge transfer initiatives Stay current with advancements in Science and Math education Key Skills : Strong knowledge of subject content and learning theory in Science and Mathematics Excellence in teaching, classroom facilitation, and academic engagement Effective written and verbal communication skills Research and publication skills aligned with academic discipline Familiarity with curriculum development, assessment tools, and educational technologies Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a multicultural academic environment Strong organizational and time-management skills Leadership and mentoring capabilities (especially for Associate level) Commitment to student success and academic excellence#J-18808-Ljbffr
