Nutritionist Job Description The Nutritionist provides comprehensive patient care in the community setting to help patients achieve optimal health and quality of life, especially in cases of chronic disease. The Patient Support Nutritionist is responsible for managing effective patient care for individuals and families in the community or in Patient Support Programs. The role requires adherence to Axios International's policies and procedures, as well as compliance with local and international standards of patient care.Responsibilities Conduct telephonic follow-up consultations.Ensure clients' menu selections comply with prescribed diets, nutritional requirements, age, cultural, and religious considerations.Create and modify menus based on client diet prescriptions using established resources and guidelines.Update and monitor client information, including diet changes, allergies, preferences, and requests.Record data such as client meal census and stock requests in logs or spreadsheets.Address client requests and complaints or escalate to appropriate staff.Guide and supervise members and staff of Food and Nutrition Services.Serve as a dietary resource for nursing and other staff members.Provide general dietary information using approved materials and resources.Offer education and counseling tailored to the treatment and care management needs.Provide general patient care and support.Supervise health teaching and support for families and caregivers regularly.Attend and complete pharmacovigilance, pharma, and product training provided by the client, understanding how to collect and report safety data.Report adverse events and product complaints as per client requirements and Axios SOPPs.Use the Axios Patient Management System (PMS) exclusively for all program activities.Perform additional duties as assigned.Job Conditions The position is based at our regional office and involves frequent travel to clients, partners, and pharmacies, which may be outside the designated region.Flexibility in travel and working hours is essential.Disclaimer: Naukrigulf.com is a platform connecting jobseekers and employers.
