Your Day to Day As an Accounts Supervisor, you should have a strong background in cashiering responsibilities and income audit processes. This role ensures accurate financial reporting, maintains financial integrity, and supports our property's overall financial operations.Additional responsibilities include: Managing daily cash and cheque collections in accordance with hotel policies and reconciling amounts with system reports.Performing daily foreign currency exchange with the appointed money changer and reconciling all foreign exchange submissions and calculations from Front Office and POS.Preparing and banking all daily cash and cheques promptly.Preparing the General Cashier Report daily to reconcile collections and banking.Maintaining in-house funds by reimbursing cashier's paid-outs and conducting periodic float counts.Monitoring hotel foreign exchange rates and updating them as per hotel policy.Balancing petty cash disbursements against floats and ensuring timely reimbursements.Safeguarding all cheques and cash in custody.Collaborating with other departments for seamless financial operations and communication.Monitoring compliance with financial regulations and internal controls. What We Need From You Ideally, you'll have some or all of the following: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field (preferred).At least three years of experience in accounting or finance, including one year in a supervisory role within the hospitality industry.Strong knowledge of cashiering and income audit processes.Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
