How a Tech Control Facility Technician II will make an impact Fabricates, installs, maintains, and repairs electronic, mechanical, and/or other types of components and equipment. Must have the technical knowledge to solve complex problems, understand the interrelationships of circuits, and exercise independent judgment in performing tasks in support of communications systems or equipment. May coach and review the work of less-experienced professionals. Provides advice and onsite training for customer support personnel. What you'll need to succeed Required Technical Skills: Intermediate "hands-on" work experience in support of installations, repair, and troubleshooting or maintenance of communications systems or equipment. Must have the technical knowledge to solve complex problems, understand the interrelationships of circuits, and exercise independent judgment in performing tasks in support of communications systems or equipment. Security Clearance Level: SECRET Required Skills and Abilities: Must meet the certification requirement of Do D 8570.01-M or as stated in SPIN-C or individual task order.
