Overview University of Doha for Science and Technology (UDST) was officially established by Emiri Decision No.13 of 2022. It is the first national university specializing in applied, technical, and professional education in Qatar. UDST offers over 70 bachelor's and master's degree programs, diplomas, and certificates. The university comprises five colleges: the College of Business, the College of Computing and Information Technology, the College of Engineering and Technology, the College of Health Sciences, and the College of General Education, along with specialized training centers for individuals and companies. Responsibilities Your Commitment Reporting to the Supervisor, Compensation and HC Operations, the Compensation and Benefits Specialist supports the Human Capital Directorate in ensuring smooth operations, consistency, and accuracy. The role involves implementing compensation and benefits schemes to retain staff and foster a reward-based performance culture that enhances employee performance, organizational trust, and satisfaction. Duties & Responsibilities Assist in researching and designing a fair, equitable, and competitive total compensation and benefits scheme aligned with UDST's strategy and the local market. Provide input on developing a consistent compensation philosophy in line with organizational objectives and ensure compliance with Qatari legislation. Manage salary and benefit records for all employees. Coordinate with stakeholders to implement outcomes from performance management processes, including promotions and salary adjustments. Track employee transactions related to loans, advances, reimbursements, and allowances, ensuring policy compliance. Review queries related to compensation schemes, pay levels, and structures, resolving escalated cases. Process payroll calculations, payments, or adjustments, ensuring accuracy and integrity of payroll records. Calculate and estimate employee benefits as per contracts and policies. Ensure timely transfer of payroll data to Finance, maintaining data accuracy for new hires, terminations, transfers, and rate changes. Enroll employees and dependents in medical benefits and liaise with insurance providers. Conduct benchmarks on pay and benefits competitiveness at local, regional, and international levels. Support review and approval of compensation changes and offers. Perform job analysis and evaluation according to UDST's system. Perform other related duties as assigned. Qualifications Education and Certifications: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, or a related field is required. Experience: Minimum of 5 years in payroll processing or a related field. Language: Fluency in written and spoken English is required; proficiency in Arabic is preferred.
