In this role, you will be responsible for providing expert consultation and care to patients requiring reconstructive surgery, including those with hand and upper extremity injuries, congenital defects, or conditions related to trauma. The ideal candidate will have experience in advanced surgical techniques, patient management, and a strong passion for improving the quality of life for individuals requiring reconstructive care.Key Responsibilities: Provide expert consultation and surgical care for patients needing reconstructive and hand surgeries, including trauma reconstruction, nerve repair, etc.Assess and diagnose patients' conditions, offering personalized treatment plans and surgical solutions.Perform advanced reconstructive procedures with a focus on hand and upper extremity surgeries.Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including physical therapists, occupational therapists, and nursing staff, to ensure comprehensive patient care.Maintain detailed medical records, including surgical notes and follow-up care plans.Advise and educate patients and their families on post-operative care, rehabilitation, and expected outcomes.Participate in clinical research and contribute to the development of new techniques or best practices in reconstructive and hand surgery.Stay updated with the latest advancements in the field of plastic surgery and hand surgery.Required Knowledge & Skills: Expertise in reconstructive surgery, particularly in hand and upper extremity surgeries.Proficiency in the latest surgical techniques, tools, and technology related to plastic and reconstructive surgery.Strong knowledge of post-operative care, rehabilitation, and recovery processes.Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex procedures to patients and families clearly.Ability to collaborate effectively with a diverse healthcare team.High attention to detail and a commitment to patient safety and comfort.Empathy and understanding to work with patients recovering from trauma or severe injuries.Experience & Education: Education: Medical Degree (MD) from an accredited institution.Board certification in Plastic Surgery.Fellowship/Board in Hand Surgery.Experience: Minimum of 10 years of hands-on experience in reconstructive and hand surgery.Proven track record of successful surgical outcomes in the field of plastic surgery.Must present a surgical Logbook for the past 3 years.Additional Requirements: Active medical licensure in home country.Ability to work flexible hours, including being on-call.If you're a passionate, driven, and experienced professional with a commitment to excellence in plastic and reconstructive surgery, we invite you to apply for this exciting opportunity.
