Fire Safety Procurement Specialist

Procurement Professional We are seeking a skilled procurement professional to lead the sourcing, purchasing, and supply chain activities for our portfolio of passive fire safety products and services.Main Responsibilities: Source, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers for firestop, fireproofing, expansion joints, EIFS, and related safety products.Prepare purchase orders and monitor timely delivery in coordination with logistics and warehouse teams.Build and maintain strong vendor relationships to ensure quality, pricing, and terms are favorable.Monitor inventory levels and forecast procurement needs based on project demands.Ensure compliance with local regulations and international standards.Conduct periodic supplier evaluations and audits to ensure consistent quality and reliability.Collaborate with engineering departments and project teams to understand material specifications and delivery timelines.Manage import documentation, customs clearance, and coordinate with freight forwarders as required.Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field.Minimum 3-5 years of procurement experience, preferably in the construction or fire safety industry.Strong knowledge of passive fire protection systems and related materials is highly desirable.Excellent negotiation, communication, and vendor management skills.Proficient in procurement software and the MS Office Suite.Familiarity with UAE import regulations, customs processes, and the local supplier market.Well-organized, able to multitask, prioritize, and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.PREFERRED SKILLS: Knowledge of international suppliers for specialized fire safety products and manpower supply companies within the UAE.Experience working with ISO or other quality management systems.Certifications in procurement (CIPS, CPP, etc.) are a plus.
