Job Opportunity Spa Management Position The ideal candidate will have a strong background in spa management, with experience in revenue generation, guest care, health and safety, security, maintenance, staff management and development, inventory control, statistics reports, marketing and promotion, hotel liaison, and other relevant skills.Key Responsibilities Revenue Generation: Develop and implement strategies to maximize revenue and profits.Ensure optimal staffing levels to achieve maximum revenue.Recommend initiatives to increase revenue and profitability.Oversee the safekeeping of daily revenue and petty cash float.Maintain accurate accounting records and procedures.Guest Care: Deliver exceptional guest experiences at every stage of their spa visit.Ensure staff adhere to high standards of guest care, as per Devarana Spa protocols.Maintain a clean and well-presented spa environment for guests' enjoyment and safety.Address and resolve guest complaints promptly, reporting to Hotel Management.Train Receptionists on service recovery procedures for guest complaints.Ensure adequate staffing to provide excellent guest care.Identify opportunities to improve guest care and recommend enhancements.Health and Safety: Ensure staff comply with company health and safety standards and procedures.Conduct guest health consultations.Monitor contraindications for massage and other treatments.Maintain proper disinfection and sterilization of tools and equipment.Provide correct usage instructions for steam, bath sauna, and heated blankets.Establish effective fire evacuation procedures.Security: Issue lockable storage for staff personal belongings.Secure the spa when unoccupied.Update and maintain key issue records, ensuring authorized staff use keys.Protect spa inventory, fixtures, and premises from unauthorized access.Maintenance: Ensure spa facilities, equipment, and fixtures are well-maintained.Document and address maintenance issues promptly.Staff Management and Development: Train therapy staff on each treatment offered on the spa menu.Train Receptionists on guest care, treatment benefits, contraindications, up-selling techniques, and retail sales techniques.Supervise staff to ensure they perform tasks safely and according to procedures.Monitor staff morale and motivate where necessary.Advise and counsel staff on behavior inconsistent with Devarana Spa philosophy and standards.Discipline staff for breaches of company rules and regulations.Guide staff on improving and developing their treatment, communication, and guest care skills.Regularly assess and appraise staff performance according to company policy.Agree achievable goals with staff and foster an environment supporting goal achievement.Report all personnel matters to Hotel Management.Inventory Control: Accurately record all inventory movements.Ensure sufficient stock levels of therapy and retail products at all times.Monitor therapy product usage to ensure correct dispensing amounts.Store stock securely and maintain proper inventory management practices.Statistics Reports: Deliver timely statistics reports.Analyze and interpret statistical data to suggest improvements and efficiencies.Marketing & Promotion: Collaborate with Marketing and Public Relations teams to develop short- and long-term promotional plans.Ensure sufficient stock levels and timely distribution of promotional materials.Keep spa staff informed about promotions and marketing initiatives.Support Marketing and PR teams in promoting the spa as needed.Hotel Liaison: Maintain cooperative relationships with hotel staff and ensure similar working relationships among spa staff.Attend hotel management briefings.Inform hotel staff of spa promotions.Update spa staff on hotel promotions.Others: Engage in continuous learning through own IDP.Perform any other duties assigned by superiors.Accountabilities: Represent Dusit's brand values consistently.Company Culture: Embody and cascade the Company culture (Vision, Mission, and Values) throughout subordinates.The ideal candidate will embody these qualities and excel in this challenging role.
