Cable Installation Specialist

Job Overview Cable laying is a crucial aspect of offshore installation campaigns. As a Cable Laying Operator, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth execution of these projects.Key Responsibilities: Identify and repair any mechanical defects that may arise during the cable laying process as instructed by your supervisor.Conduct daily job activities and provide detailed reports to the Cable Laying supervisor.Verify that all necessary items and accessories for the cable laying scope are readily available on board the barge.Maintain a well-documented log of mobilized accessories and equipment used during the cable laying process.Oversee the dismantling and demobilization of cable laying equipment and its maintenance during idle periods.Required Skills and Qualifications To excel in this role, you must possess a secondary education (10 years of schooling) and a discipline-specific technical diploma with 5 years of relevant experience, or alternatively, have 8 years of relevant experience without the diploma.Working Environment This position requires strong compliance with company codes and HSE standards.
