The Ramadi Lab for Advanced Neuroengineering and Translational Medicine develops innovative approaches for the modulation of neural activity throughout the body. We combine mechanical, electrical, materials, and bioengineering tools to design minimally invasive technologies for neuromodulation. Our projects are translational and focused on addressing specific clinical needs. Our goal is to develop novel diagnostics and therapies for neurologic, metabolic, and immune disorders using technologies such as implantable microdevices, nanoparticles, and electroceuticals.The Research Assistant will contribute to and support primary research efforts, including data collection and analysis, project management, training new lab members, purchasing equipment and consumables, and manuscript preparation.Responsibilities: Managing project and lab logistics Data collection Grant and manuscript management Autonomous decision-making in collaboration with the PIProblem-solving independently Familiarity with laboratory equipment Working on individualized research projects under faculty supervision This position is supervised by Dr. Khalil Ramadi Required Education: BS in engineering or biomedical-related discipline Preferred Education: MS in engineering or biomedical-related discipline Required Work and Related Experience: Two years of laboratory experience Required Competencies: Strong organizational, communication, problem-solving, and time management skills Proficiency in English Preferred Competencies: Engineering device design, fabrication, and manufacturing experience#J-18808-Ljbffr
