Clinical Psychologist Role To excel as a Clinical Psychologist, you will be responsible for providing exceptional psychological services to patients and their carers. Key areas of focus include: Key Responsibilities: Managerial Functions: Ensure comprehensive coverage of various service areas or populations and settings.Collaborate with senior clinical psychologists for consultative services internally and externally.Technical Expertise: Deliver highly specialist one-to-one clinical psychological consultations.Develop and implement tailored psychological interventions for individuals, families, and groups.Coordinate risk management plans for clients and contribute to treatment options evaluation.Promote high-quality psychological services through direct clinical work and collaboration with team members.Provide advice on the psychological aspects of needs assessment and care planning.Develop psychosocial formulations for complex problems to inform intervention strategies.Exercise professional responsibility for client assessment, treatment, and referral.Offer casework for people experiencing severe psychological difficulties.Quality and Safety: Promote quality in all services and ensure continuous quality improvement measures.Comply with safety, health, and quality control programs and procedures.Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to established policies and procedures.Document all interventions in appropriate format and participate in clinical audit processes.Communicate professionally with patients, family, and medical personnel as necessary.Education and Development: Participate in training and education sessions for department staff, doctors, and nurses.Engage in department programs/committees, hospital committees, and staff meetings.Ensure internal and external sharing of information based on governing policies and procedures.Maintain professional knowledge through lectures, seminars, or online education units.This position requires strong leadership skills, technical expertise, and commitment to delivering high-quality services.We are seeking an experienced Clinical Psychologist who can make a significant contribution to our team.Requirements: Postgraduate qualification in Clinical Psychology.Registration with the relevant professional body.Proven experience in clinical psychology practice.Strong communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Please note that this is not an exhaustive list of requirements.
