ESH Sustainability Specialist

Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated professional with a passion for Environment, Safety and Health (ESH), combined with a strong commitment to Sustainability. This position has primary responsibility to ensure World-Area level ESH activities & new initiatives. We are looking for a professional who is ready to work in an innovative business environment, complex manufacturing setting, and to implement best-in-class processes to protect people and the environment.In this role, your responsibilities will be : Review, maintain and develop policies and procedures to cultivate a strong culture of safety and ensure regulatory compliance.Drive continuous improvement of ESH programs to mitigate risk, prevent injuries, and protect people, property, and the environment.Provide HSE expertise and take ownership for implementing tools, standards, and proven methods.Harmonize and standardize processes and initiatives, promoting collaboration within the HSE community and implementing proven techniques.Adopt global strategies to local priorities.Drive innovative programs which bring engineering solutions to all hazards.Ensure ISO certification through timely audits and effective closure of corrective actions.Collaborate with leadership to embed ESH accountability and cultivate a positive safety culture.Ensure all new projects have acquired all required authorizations and permits.Provide continuous leadership in reducing operating costs related to ESH through energy conservation, waste minimization, and injury prevention.Track, analyze and communicate ESH performance using leading and lagging indicators.Serve as system administrator for ESH tools such as Velocity and ENHESA regulatory compliance and risk management audit tools.Own the development of ESH plans, establish objectives, and monitor progress using important metrics.Conduct inspections and audits and ensure timely communication of findings and corrective actions.Lead sustainability initiatives, drive emission reduction strategies, and foster green teams to achieve Net Zero targets.Required Skills and Qualifications To succeed in this role, you should have : Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Engineering / Safety Science / Occupational Health.Years' experience in ESH roles preferably in Mechanical industries.Practical knowledge of ESH regulatory compliance and industry trends.Lead Auditor in ISO.Benefits At our organization, we prioritize a workplace where every employee is valued, respected, and empowered to grow.
